Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College was founded in the year 1956 with an objective to harmonize step with changing global, technical perspective and to provide equal opportunities to each to attain excellence in the technological advancements.

The institute with the single faculty of Civil and rural engineering. Working under the concept that "Change is never constant", Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College continues in dynamic momentum and is now a premier technical institute of Rajasthan with the faculty of Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with a total capacity of around 570 students. The institute is approved by A.I.C.T.E. and is affiliated by B.T.E.R. (Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur) giving three year diploma in engineering. The institute is also awarded "Best Polytechnic" by N.I.T.T.T.R. Chandigarh.
